China dress not arrived

All, can I get some advice please.
Wife in a moment of weakness bought a dress on fadhits.com for 158 US dollars (around 97GBP) on my visa debit card
This is actually a chinese website and they debited the account immediately - they then sent an email to say the dress would be arriving in 25 days
After 36 days she has chased them several times by email - they keep writing back and giving us tracking numbers on chinese parcel service websites - none of these work...
So at this stage we are fairly convinced this is a scam, and are looking to try and claw back any money if possible -any advice for us folks?
Thankyou James

You may have to wait until 15 days after the promised delivery date, but use that time productively by reading MSE's Chargeback article.0 -
Give it time, probably in customs.0

Chinese customs are stricter at the moment adding 7-10 days extra on deliveries. An item posted on 5th September arrived with me today, guess thats about 33 days. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

It's just been 'golden week' in China (usually around the 1st October) so they have had 7 days of national holiday which has slowed the post down a bit.
I've found orders from China taking longer than usual because of this.0 -
We tried to get a dress out of China earlier this year and it never arrived. Then the website went down and disappeared. They responded to one email saying that the dress was out of stock and they'd refund the money but it never came. Luckily we put it on Credit Card and they never charged us for the transaction. Although even that was funny - Barclaycard kept saying they'd send us the dispute forms but nothing ever arrived and we could never speak directly to the dispute team.School is important, but Rugby is importanter.0

A) Standard Order: Generally speaking, it will take 10-12 calendar days for professional dressmaker to tailor your dresses,4-5 calendar days for adding embellishments, and also 3 days for quality inspection.
So it takes 17-20 days to have the dress made before they even post it.0
