I don't know. You can google it. Quite a few bike shops have their prices online. I only went in once and asked. There was a sharp intake of breath. Well there's labour charges and then the parts and the VAT. I just went home and decided to sort it out myself.0

I don't use any gadgets, as I already said I true the wheel by tone. The life of a wheel is longer than a couple of weeks or a couple of months, my wheels are still true when the rim is worn out after 20,000 miles.0

Been riding and winning lots of nice trophy's probably longer than you have been born.
Always repaired my own bikes, straightened all my own wheels and dozens from friends and club members and never had a gadget costing £££

There's no need to spend anything on wheel building kit. I have a home made stand and a home made dishing gauge that cost nothing, I even up the spoke tension by ear (the only way), and check the spoke tension using a spring balance. My only other piece of kit is a home made plectrum, because my thumbnail won't last the distance without shredding.0

The answer is patience. The difference between any amateur and a professional is that amateurs have the time to do a job properly, but a professionals time isn't free, so he has to do a job that's economically competitive.
If your wheels need re-truing after weeks rather than years you are doing something wrong.0 -
I have bought the equipment to have straight wheels. If I build a wheel I might have a look at it a couple of weeks after I have made it. If it is perfectly straight I won't touch it. If it is the slightest bit out I will tweak it. Sorry if it upsets you but I have the time to do it.0

OK then Arcon5. Go and make yourself a truing stand and a dishing gauge. Then make yourself a perfect wheel that will last 20000 miles and never need truing. Should be cheap.0
