Searching for "85 year old travel insurance" came up with goodtogoinsurance.com.
With no pre-existing conditions the annual non-USA premium was only £1923. Or £2421 if you want the Platinum cover.

My Nan is 83 years old and has several pre existing medical conditions, we've just renewed her insurance through Stay Sure who we've used for a couple of years now. We had to cancel a holiday in June and they were really good and acted quite fast so would suggest giving them a try.Lea

Last year was fine, but when you get to 85 most insurers won't touch you it would seem0 -

Just had a quick reccy on stay sure and even when putting 85 as the age it gave me a price, £287 per year inc cancellation and curtailment. (£225 without that but wouldn't risk not having it at their age)
It's not cheap but it's available.Lea

Alex have you obtained permission to post? As you are representing your company you need this.If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.0

I had to get my Mum insured earlier this year - The best company I found was Just Travel Cover - but it made no sense to go for an annual policy, as this was silly money...but the single trip was very reasonable...so perhaps the way to go would be several single trip policies, rather than the annual ?0
