Those of us who have moles under our drives most of the time, might not be too reassured by that! :rotfl:
Probably should have explained myself better........
A mole like this

There's a lot not to like; not being able to park anyway near our house over Xmas at a time when we are expecting company, extra insurance to cover street parking and the possibility of a patched up driveway, or at the very least losing all the bulbs and plants in the gardenC_Mababejive wrote: »
Who told you they were digging a trench on your drive?
This is a direct quote from their letter to me
"we may need to dig in your driveway or garden along the route of existing pipe"
I'm familiar with my driveway. The existing main runs under the drive. I'm also familiar with dealing with contractors having worked as a building surveyor for decades.
Whats not to like?
Thanks for your input.0 -
Get a petition up to stop them, and cross your fingers there isn't a major gas leak or explosion.0

Thanks for your input.
I feel your pain but there are to most houses in this country separate gas, water electric and telecoms services. What should the utilities do? Do nothing and let things deteriorate to the point of danger? No,they replace when they have reached end of useful life and the risk profile is unacceptable.
Of course its all hidden but if you could unzip the roads of the UK you will see a plethora of infrastructure some of which, if it failed dramatically, could have rapid and catastrophic consequences.
Its just like roadworks. Nothing lasts forever and we have to endure inconvenience whilst it gets repaired/replaced.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0 -

There wont be a need for one. If they cant get access, they will just pass you by.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0
