Lost P60

I would need to have my last 5 years of p60 forms, however I can't seem to find the one from year 2011/2012 
I asked my employer if they could provide me with a copy/replacement and they said they can't help as the company changed ownerships during the years and in that year the company was still running under a different name and now it doesn't exist any more. (However nothing has changed with my job/position/salary in the meantime, so in 2011/12 I had the same job at the same place where I am working now.)
Can anyone help me how I could get a p60 from that year? It would be so important....

I don't believe its possible to get a replacement P60 even if the employer remains the same. The only thing you can do is get a statement of your tax/income from HMRC."You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0
