Anyone with a Selftrade CTF Account?

Have received the paperwork to agree to transfer CTF to Equinity.
The account holds an AIM stock which I am keen to hold on to. From the sounds of the info it seems as if this 'transfer' is a 'in name only' as your existing website / user details will remain the same.
Anyone else with a Selftrade CTF and considering options?

I gave consent to the transfer of my CTF to Equiniti a few weeks ago. I studied the documentation closely and noted that the terms and conditions were essentially unchanged as far as the CTF was concerned for a period of 12 months. I was anxious to make sure that no additional charges were going to be imposed.
If after 12 months they do introduce further charges I may reconsider my options. But that's for later.
My CTF has been through a number of guises during it's life. It started as Com Direct which became Squaregain then Selftrade. I half expect Equiniti to transfer to someone else in a few years time.0 -
Hi Stratus, thanks for your reply.
I had been re-reviewing the paperwork and noticed the 12 month guarantee from Equiniti.
Based on this and the fact that there will not be any transfer charges (certainly for the first 12 months after transfer), and that the rules change in April 2015 to allow CTFs to transfer to a JISA I am also going to agree to the transfer.
I will look in the new year if there are other/better options from JISA providers.Personal Responsibility - Sad but True
