    Bankruptcy probably isn't as scary a prospect as you might think. If CAB /Business debtline have advised it as a good option then it probably is.
    Why not hop over to the bankrutpcy board as they are equally friendly over there and will probably be able to answer any questions you may have regarding the process.

    As a fellow ostrich, welcome to the board. I have found everyone on here very helpful. Due to life circumstances and years of depression, I declared BR in January. I felt ashamed and afraid. I am now less than 100 days off being discharged, and whilst there are challenges (particularly as I have a 3 year IPA), it is miles better than the fear and terror of hiding from it.


    I have had ups and downs since it happened but I haven't had the gut wrenching fear of the debt. I am free of that. It's a very liberating experience - I wish you continued progress
