esa reassessment

First I hve awarded esa wrag with one year prognosis perod but reassed two years later last July. But I didn't receive any letter about the decision from DWP. But my advisor sent me a letter to attend WFI. And he told me they already decided and put you I esa wrag for 18 month. I asked him why they didn't send me letter. He said I don't know.call them . So does this mean I can't appeal the decision. Pleas help me what to do.

many thanks

You'll need to call them as suggested. Your time to appeal will not start until you receive the letter.

Your time to appeal does not start until _they_send_ the letter to your last known address. If it gets lost, the appeal deadline still runs from when you would normally have received it.

I am assuming the original decision was 18 months ago - this is out of time, and can't be appealed.
If you mean you have not been notified of the decision of 6 months ago to extend your time on ESA for another 12 months - as I understand it - this is a decision that can be appealed - it's been under 13 months, and they could have at that time decided that you were eligible for the support group.
  • I had a WCA in February 2013 and i've still not had a letter telling me i have been put in WRAG.I have complained many many times.

Are you still on the assessment rate of ESA?

I am getting the esa rate . The decsion is done last month according to my advisor. My payment is not reduced but he is asking me to participate in work related activity. But I want to appeal. But the problem I can't appeal with out getting the decsion letter. My advisor only told me I am placed in esa wrag with 18 month prognosis period. So shall I call them or I have other option

    Thank you

My advisor told me I have placed again esa wrag with 18 month prognosis period. But I didn't receive any letter from the DWP about the decision. So the question is whether I can be able to appeal the decision or or simply follow what my advisor told me to do.
    Thanks

You can ask for a MANDATORY RECONSIDERATION of the most recent decision, if as you say that was 1 month ago, then you can ask for a Man Recon on the phone, you don't need the letter to be able to ask for the Man Recon to be started.... You can either tell them on the phone some extra information as to why you think you should be in the Support Group or you can send a letter soon after explaining why you should be in the support group. Or you can decide not to provide any additional evidence/statement at all.
