Towser
Where should we go? We have an Autistic boy who likes to be far from the madding crowd. We all like nice weather of course but if the weather will be mediocre we need something to do with two boys aged 8 and 9. What to do?
Any suggestions welcome.

are you wanting to tow a caravan or stay in a static caravan?0

Yes towing a caravan.
A lot of the National Trust sites are closed then.
Most swimming pools are closed then too.
What else is there to do?0 -
ah right. we are travelling over to northern france to stay in a static half term, very few sites open but we found this one we are staying at,it has swimming pool. lakes, shops etc.
not sure what part of the country you want to visit but a quick look shows some sites available October-half term. I only checked Devon or Northumberland both show availability here http://www.haven.com/touring-camping/pitches-facilities/index.aspx#0 -
