Rubbish. You're still living in Top Trumps world where BHP is the only number that matters, and there's no such rule as 10BHP here, -0.1s there.
We've done this the other day. Try to keep up. It's all about power-to-weight ratio, torque, gearing, and, ultimately, the driver.
I guarantee you my weekend toy will more than keep up with your 3 Series, and it has a LOT less than 450BHP.0 -

It doesn't matter what facts and figures etc you work with, there was less in it than you would expect - or believe (you're not alone, why would you be 400bhp vs 250bhp).

It's not all about peak figures, but area under the curve.
He got a bit of a run on me, I didn't think I needed to drop a gear in 'the beast', and it took a while to level out then pull away.
You would have to work your E92 M3 harder than you would like to admit, and could easily think it's a diesel, I won't need to do much; in which time it'll be steaming ahead on a wave of torque while you think fcuk me I need to drop a gear here...0 -

I've always thought it a good idea to pay full price (unless you know somewhere and they charge less) so they don't look for repairs.0
