Add student to home ins policy

Hi
My son is at Uni, and needs to insure his own stuff, In total this comes to about £3k. He has been quoted £120 with endsleigh which seemed quite high. My own Home Ins is due for renewal so I am happy to add to my policy if the price is ok. Can anyone recommend a good company that will include that

Comments

  • Normally its not an optional extra but there is simply a few insurers that have this as a standard feature as long as the kid is within the specified age etc.

Unfortunately its going to take a bit of leg work to find the ones that do as its not a standard feature that aggregators etc allow you to filter on

Not recommendations, but two I know off the top that include cover for students possessions whist at uni (as part of the policy, not as paid for add ons) are directline and swiftcover
