Advice on pc components

Hello

I am going to use PC Specialist to build a new laptop for me and need some advice on some components I need to chose between please.
It's for a 15inch Notebook II.
I'm looking for the best spec out of these please.....

http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/notebooks/ultraNoteII-15/

HD 1366 x 768 and Full HD IPS LED backlit 1920 x 1080
What does IPS stand for and would I notice the difference between the 2 for £50?

A quad core I7-4712MQ (2.3 GHz) 6MB is cheaper than a dual core I7-4610MQ (3.0 GHz) 4MB. I thought quad was better than dual, so why is the dual more expensive?

What's the difference please between Kingston Sodimm DDR3 8MB RAM and Kingston Hyper X Impact Sodimm DDR3 8MB RAM other than about £1 difference?

Would a 120GB SSD in the mSATA slot, be sufficient to run the operating system, leaving the standard hard drive just for storage?
And again, comparing SSD drives, how does a
Kingston SSDNow mS200 MSata (Up to 550MB/sR - 520MB/sW)
compare to an
Intel 530 6GB/s (Up to 540MB/sR - 520MB/sW)
Or should I go for 240GB? There are options for both brands.

Finally (for now), in terms of hard drives, how does a
1TB Serial Ata II 2.5" with 8MB cache (5400rpm)
compare with
1TB WD Scorpio Blue WD10JPVX SATA 6Gb/s with 8MB cache (5400rpm) (other than about £10).

As you can see I have ruled out a hybrid drive - but should I re-consider?

Is there anything I should look out for on the Bluetooth and Wireless side?
With 802.11, what's the difference with N, BGN or AC?

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!

IPS is the type of panel thats used for the monitor, theres several different types, but IPS and TN are the most common of these.

IPS panels are usually more expensive, but have better colours than a TN panel.

You would notice a massive difference between the 2 monitors, but thats more down to the resolution.

As for the dual vs quad. The Quad has more cores, so potentially has more proessing power, however, the dual has a quicker clock speed, which means the individual cores will be quicker.

Which is best would depend on your usage, if you tend to use software/games that are more single threaded, the dual would offer better performances, if they are more multi-threaded applications, then the quad would be better.

The difference between the memory will be very little, the Hyper X will have slightly better timings, but beyond benchmarking, you wont really notice much difference.

out of the 2 SSD's i would go for the Intel, never been a fan of the kingston, and found the Intel to be quicker and more reliable
128GB would be enough for the OS and some applications.

Difficult to say the difference between the hard drives as its pretty vague of what they are. I think i would choose the WD, as its a decent make and is 6GB/s (the other might be as well, but it doesn't say)
