now this doesnt sound like much but read on till the end you'll like it. went Asda today for some frozen puff pastry. I usually go to Aldi , were its 59p, but its quite far, and I was feeling lazy. jussrole is £2.49 ! any way picked up a wee bargain, black colouring for icing, halloween approaches, reduced from £1.98 to 25p. went through till at £1.98, went to customer service desk, had the right change refunded plus my £2 gift card for overcharging. Hence I paid 74p for both and the puf pastry will do me 4 times. Tadaaa.

Love it! And I didn't know they gave you a £2 gift card for over charging!!!!

they dont tell you that, you have to ask. Anytime they overcharge at the till, keep quiet and take to customer service desk. it may take a few minutes but the feeling of triumph is worth it :D

I popped into Morrison's last night for a loaf, they had loads of loaves, packs of rolls, tiger sticks etc reduced to 9p each. I picked up three, one scaned but the other two didn't, the assistant came over and messed about for a bit, gave up and gave them me for free :) 9p for three loaves, can't complain!
I also picked up some WW sausages for £1.50 and some sliced turkey for 55p.
  • I didn't get anything today, went in this morning and then again this afternoon and it was all still the same price and agent been reduced further.
However I got a 25kg sack of potatoes for £8, so we had jacket spuds for tea! Well pleased with that bargain!!!

Here in Nottm I'd normally pay around £12 for a sack of 25kg but I'm pleased.
