Sorry if this is in the wrong section but I've started going everyday to my local coop only to look for yellow/orange sticker items.

I've become addicted and have tunnel vision to the reduced meat and veg section!
Last week I got..
4 chicken thighs for £1.50 2 used for a curry this week in the sc Should have been £3
A seasoned spatchcock chicken £2.50 instead of £6
Joint of pork for £3.50 made pulled pork in sc instead of £5
Beef brisket £6 instead of £10<need some ideas never done it before
Gammon joint 1.5kg for £3 instead of £6 made sc cola ham

What have you managed to get?

Ps don't know if their is a similar thread but if so point me in the right direction?:)

This week it has been two packs of large organic chicken legs at £1.50 each pack. One is currently in the oven roasting and the other three are in the freezer.

After discovering the reduced meat fridge in Morrisons, I make a point of looking there every time I shop there. I have previously had some wonderful bargains in the yellow sticker section.

I no longer feel embarrassed it no longer bothers me to look as we've had some right treats In the past and recently.
I forgot to add pork loin steaks for £1.50 instead of £3.80
What are your plans for the rest of the chicken?

Dropped into Tesco for a bottle of wine last night and came out with a bag laden with fruits. 6 satsumas, two packs of five peaches, three packs of ten plums - all 8p or 7p, two loaves of wholemeal bread@8p. Even with the bottle of red wine the bill was only just over £4! I will be back.

OP the rest of the chicken legs are in the freezer. I bag singly in case I just want to roast one. There is one that is a bit larger than the others and that will be used in a casserole.

When it comes to yellow stickered items, I snaffle them up when I can because for me it often means that I can have the occasional treat.

    We've never eaten so well.
I've bough a smaller 3.5l slow cooker today from b&m as my 6.5l is sometimes just too big like today.....
I snapped up 2 boxes of lamb mince was £4 now £2, I dug my shepherds our recipe out and I only needed 250g of it out of 450g, cut excess off and bagged n put in the freezer.
I can say it tastes amazing as it was my nannas recipe she gave me last week. Topped wig mash and sweet potato mash mixed together. But the small sc makes it better as being in the bigger one would have made a thinner layer of the mince.
    It smells gooooood!!!
I also picked up 12 sausages cumberlands from £3.50 to £1.
Went into tesco later and got pork loin for £1.30 was £3.89 and stewing beef was £3.80 now £2.00.
I can say my freezer is bursting!!!
With all these great meals I've managed to loose 3lbs I'm a size 12 anyway but I like to watch the lbs and the £ lol

Glad people are getting some great bargains, I'd like to keep this page going to give other people the opportunity that they can eat super well on a budget!!
Look out for them stickers people!!!

now this doesnt sound like much but read on till the end you'll like it. went Asda today for some frozen puff pastry. I usually go to Aldi , were its 59p, but its quite far, and I was feeling lazy. jussrole is £2.49 ! any way picked up a wee bargain, black colouring for icing, halloween approaches, reduced from £1.98 to 25p. went through till at £1.98, went to customer service desk, had the right change refunded plus my £2 gift card for overcharging. Hence I paid 74p for both and the puf pastry will do me 4 times. Tadaaa.
