investigatory meeting - some complaints not raised
Comments
-
If someone were called to a meeting to investigate complaints made about them by a coworker - would they have any right to see the complaint in full. Ie a copy of the written complaint?
If some parts of the complaint were ignored in the meeting could one ask what they were anyway?
Thanks
Haven't we already done four pages on this? https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5060934=
The answer is no - there is no right to see a complaint against you. If it came to a dismissal then the employer may have to justify how they reached their decision if a court requires them to - but that does not mean that they must give you or disclose a statement or letter written by someone else. And anything below a dismissal - they can as they like because you have no recourse to the law to appeal their actions. There is no right to see the complaint. Just as there wasn't the last time you asked.0
