confused by British Gas bill

hi all

i am after a little bit of help with my BG bill, a man came a few days ago to read the meter and i got an email this afternoon saying my bill was ready

So i checked it and it says it is £401 in debit swell £145 credit which has been used

Now i checked my meter reading history and gas seems fine but yet i checked the electricity and it says

april 2014 meter read 97299
october 2014 meter read 99157

which i make to be 1868 units, yet in the units used it says 98990.0

why is this? i have tried to call but have been on hold for an hour almost, i have emailed them to
