Has anyone registered for this, and knows how much (if anything) it costs?
And also whether it will solve the problem of Gmail not allowing you to use their servers to 'send as' another email address any more?

Just in case that's not clear: historically I have set email addresses up with 123-reg as 'name@company.org.uk', and then a gmail address of 'name.company@gmail.com' so we can use calendars and access email anywhere. Then I've used 123-reg to forward emails from name@company.org.uk to name.company@gmail.com. And then I've used gmail to 'send as' name@company.org.uk.
Until August you could do this through gmail's servers, but now you can't, so I'm trying to work out the most cost-effective way of doing the 'send as' bit. Been advised to looking to Google Apps but the web page is about as uninformative as it's possible to be ...Signature removed for peace of mind0
