Reclaiming Newbie - Egg and Mint

Hi All,

I'm totally new to this, and have been reading the advice on here regarding claiming back PPI.

I'm almost certain I'm due, but I'm not sure what I'm due...

I had a Loan and Credit Card with Egg, roughly 10 years ago. I also had a Credit Card with Mint.

Unfortunately I have no record of what these products were, or what the details are.

So my question is ....

What's the best way of going forward?

-Find out what my products were, and write letters based on these?
-Find out what my products were, and fill out the official forms on the bank websites
-Just fill out the forms or write letters, saying I had products, but not sure what.

I don't want to put any claims at risk, so would appreciate any advice.

I read that EGG had a phone number you could contact for this (0800 7834393), but I don't know a) if it's still active, or b) if this is the right approach?

Thanks!
Gary

Easiest way is to ring them and ask if you had ppi on the products you're proposing to complain about.

If you did, you could then complain, giving your reasons why you believe the insurance products were mis-sold.

Note: You're not making a claim, you're making a complaint.
