Oh, and don't think you should bother with Open Outsourcing / earlier Foxy as after almost a month of working for them from home (from 12th of August 'till 3rd Sept ) I still didn't get paid......0

Thanks for the info Belleepoque; that`s the thing that`s been bothering me- there`s no guarantee of work ( or that I`ll even qualify) and after completing the CSP training (which I`ve paid for) I have to do another training course for the company I choose to work for ( which I have to pay for) and I might not even be accepted! Also, some of the training courses take about 4 weeks, of 4 hours a day, which is time consuming when I could be working on my own projects. I`ve applied to LeapForce ( I worked for Lionbridge about 18 months ago, so I hope they won`t hold that against me!)0

Having worked briefly for Arise - before they charged for training - I found the whole experience a nightmare. Just logging into their systems before starting work was so complicated it often took nearly an hour. Tech support was terrible and there were regular glitches while on the job.
In fact the training was the only vaguely enjoyable part of the whole experience. (My only caveat is that this was 3 years ago and things may have improved since then.)
Plenty of people have worked for Lionbridge and gone on to work for Leapforce, so I think the only issue would be whether they are currently taking on new people.0 -
Thanks Ghost 2005; the complicated nature of Arise is what has put me off; I could see all my time being eaten up by it and it doesn't seem to be worth the effort financially. I checked out the LeapForce site and there does seem to be vacancies so fingers crossed!0
