I've no personal experience (I tend to travel to Manchester by train) but I've heard that the Boddingtons car park is cheap and near the arena0

Yeah, park on the former Boddington brewery site, just across from the Arena at the junction of Trinity Way and Bury New Road, usually £3 a day and I think £6 for evenings on Event nights.0

If you don't mind a walk of a few hundred yards you can just park off Rochdale Road free of charge..by the Marble Arch pub is good and I recommend the pub for the beer and for the architecture if you are early.. google maps says it's 13 mins walk (point 6 of a mile)0

thanks guys, walking is a problem as i have imflammotry arthritis so need to be fairly close. i will check out the Boddingtons one. i have vip tickets for the event so will be there a little earlier than most of the event users which should be better for limited spaces0

Hi, I know this is a pretty old thread but for anyone stumbling across it I always use Parkopedia - I've found them to be really reliable and their map is great for finding places near a venue. They also have an app. I'm a new user so I can't include the link but if you google parkopedia you'll get to it.0
