Do I Accept Bk Offer or continue with Court Action

Hi all,

Started court action via Money claim for £500 bk fees + interest (very easy and straightforward £80 fee). Banks solicitor acknowledged, which gives them 28 days to file a defence.
I have also this week received offer from bank for £495 made without prejudice, but only have 10 days to respond.

Do I accept now or continue with court system which if I WIN would include £80 court fee and interest?

Am I being greedy or should I just quit while I'm ahead? any advice from previous payout winners?

  • This is your claim so the only person who can decide is you. You are not greedy to continue, after all they deprived you of the money, failed to stick to your timescale and as a result you sued them. Would they have failed to charge you?
The right decision is the one that you believe is the right one.
I have not worked for NatWest Bank since February 2009
