log cabin office in garden

I am trying to find a company to supply me with a Log cabin 44mm walls which I can use as an office. there are many out there but the reviews! Each time I think I have found a good one I also find horrendous reviews.
I do not have a lot of money, so looking for something we can build ourselves {hubby is a carpenter} around the 3m by 3m size.
Has anyone got any recommendations, not just on companies but also on customer service and ease of construction.
Thank you,:j

    what's the budget
  • Ideally 2k although I could go a bit higher. Will be doing everything ourselves including base. So just need the cabin.
    Thank you.
  • I a, sure a quick google, you will be able to find or purchase some plans/drawings for a log cabin and you can buy all the raw materials your self. But if your partner is a carpenter, you should be able to just build one with your own plans/drawings. It's pretty simple, four walls and a roof.

Start with a basic farms, and fill in the gaps with cladding and insulation then plaster the inside. You will probably get a much better product for much less money.

I think that will be tight for a 3m with roof, door, windows etc. even in kit form.

I did see a 3m structure which was oak clad ready to insulate and board for £1k but collection only from Norwich area probably sold now.

You could try http://www.creativelivingcabins.co.uk/. I don't know how good they are but I have heard their advert on the radio quite a bit recently.

No idea on quality but we are looking for some garden structures and spotted this.

so even very simple door no windows, no roof covering over £2k.

You might have to be a source the materials and DIY 100%.
