Halifax £100 Switch??

Hi,
Had a search but couldn't find the answer to my following question.
I've just opened a Halifax Reward account, set up a direct debit to pay my phone bill and also one to my Tesco Internet saver account, got £750/month going in from external source. So all those requirements sorted.
Regarding the £100 switching incentive, I provided details of a Nationwide FlexDirect account I don't use anymore, but it doesn't have any Directs debits or other standing orders etc. setup, will I still get the 'Bonus' from Halifax when it closes it?
Thanks all.

Yep. All my account had was a PayPal DD. Might be worth just putting £1 in the account so at least they have something to switch.Credit 'Score' - Don't buy the credit 'score' that Experian, Equifax and Noddle want to sell you. It's an arbitrary number that means nothing when it comes to applying for credit.
ALWAYS HAVE A DIRECT DEBIT SET UP FOR THE MINIMUM PAYMENT ON YOUR CREDIT CARDS, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU PLAN TO LOGIN AND PAY EACH MONTH.0
