Sorry if this sounds a bit complicated but I have tried to find answers on the internet but going round in circles.
1. Who do I contact if I want to get somebody's jail sentence increased.
2. Is there any time limit on claims for compensation against this person? He was convicted of dangerous driving.
Thank you.

I don't know the answer to 2. but I'm pretty sure it's not down to you to get the sentence increased. Look at James Bulgers mum; she insisted the Jon Venables should not be released and he still wasOur Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

There is no way I am aware of for a victim to appeal an offenders sentence.
Were you injured physically by the dangerous driving? The ligation period to bring a claim for personal injury is 3 years from the date of the incident or the date you discovered the injury if later unless you are under 18 in which case it is 3 years from the date you turn 18.0 -
I think it is down to the Crown Prosecution Service to ask for an extended sentence.
I am afraid I don't know the answer to question 2

Part 1. An unduly lenient sentence referral can only be done by the Attorney General. Anyone can ask him to refer a case to the Court of Appeal but usually it is the CPS.
However, it only applies to certain offences and, according to this info from the CPS, it doesn't apply to dangerous driving.

Was the driver insured? If so any claim for injury or damage should be directed to their insurers.0
