Yes they are moving to a smaller bungalow, they are currently with Virgin, TV and phone, unfortunately the new house doesn't have Virgin in it currently a BT socket.
Can anyone suggest a provider that gives a phone and tv package with out the broadband?
BT seem happy to give tv but only with broadband.
Reason for no broadband? Not into computers or the internet.

If they are not happy just watching the free to air TV via satellite or through an aerial then I think the only option would be Sky if Virgin cannot offer their service at the new address.0

Check the postcode at Virginmedia.com

Thanks all, no virgin as although all around is cable, the builders only installed BT type phone linse, bungalow was built 20 years ago.0

Bear in mind that if they leave VM and are still in minimum term, the full ETC is payable, whether cable is available or not.
Unless they need specific subscription channels, Freeview or Freesat will do the job at no ongoing cost.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
What channels do they want to watch? The only big advantage of cable and BT are that they offer sports channels and specific Sky channels etc. There are many channels available through Freeview and Freesat so it's worth seeing what they have to offer (at no cost).

Buy a PVR for recording programmes.
I was with Virgin many years ago and eventually realised that there were only 2 channels that I watched that weren't available on Freeview. When I moved house I took the opportunity to leave Virgin and have saved a small fortune.
You also say that you want a phone and TV package but not internet.. To get something like BT TV you have to have internet connectivity because that is how it works. The same applies with Talktalk as they both use catchup tv features which download/stream programes via the internet.0 -
BT's TV service NEEDS 'the Internet' as it is the only way they deliver content. The rest is free view.0
