Hi Folks,
I`m due to go on 3 months additional paternity leave quite soon and my wife will be going back to work for the last 3 months of the 9. Anyone know what I am entitled to? I know its basically SMP for 3 months but is there anything else i.e. does the dental etc.. that my wife currently gets transfer over to me? Any advice greatly appreciated
Thanks..

No, you won't be able to use your wife's maternity exemption certificate to get free dental treatment. One of the reasons it's given to women is because pregnancy can have a detrimental effect on teeth, which obviously doesn't apply to you as you weren't the one pregnant.
Congrats on taking APL btw. Very few men take it; my DH did and loved every second.0
