You need to ask them for a copy of their breakdown then so you can see what figures differ to yours and where they got the amount from. Once this has been done, you can then go back and say you can afford such and such an amount.I worked as a case clerk for the IS for a number of years. Any views expressed are my own. If your query is urgent, please contact the OR or LTADT dealing with your case directly.

Would love to, but tried calling again today, not even the switchboard is answering. I have also emailed manchester.or@insolvency.gsi.gov.uk now too.
If I still get no reply, I will just sit tight and wait for them to contact me or discharge me, which ever comes first.0 -
Please write them a letter outlining the fact that you don't agree with their IPA assessment and show a SoA with your incomings and outgoings on it as you know them to be. Ask them to reply asap and send it recorded delivery. So you have proof that it was delivered. This will show you have tried everything you could. Then sit and wait.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0

After sending the email today they have contacted me but thanks. They left a message on answer phone and asked me to call back and low and behold, not at the desk when I do. I will try again later.0
