Used the speed fit ones when removing some kitchen piping. Be aware that when you turn the water back on they move a bit until they grip, which they're designed to do.
Scared the bejezuz out of me though as it went bang a bit, thought the thing was going to fly off!0 -

Hello John Guest, :spam::spam::spam:
Anyway even if this is a yonks old resurrected topic, why do you need to blank pipes when removing rads?
You leave the valves on the pipes and disconnect at the rad whilst draining, you shut down manual valves and add lock caps in place of thermostat tops.I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0
