i have just moved from npower to extra energy they took over my supply on the 23/9/14. Anyone have idea when npower will send me my final bill,i have £330 still in my npower account even though it says when i login that this account is now closed,I sent my meter readings to extra energy on the 23rd,so is it just a case that i need to wait until they inform npower of these readings?.
thanks

By posting on a public forum npower will probably offer to help. (There is a npower rep who posts on this forum.)
However if your money is not repaid in a reasonable time then send them a complaint by email. Their complaint process (including the relevant email addresses) is here:
https://customerservices.npower.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/694/~/what-is-your-complaints-process%3F
Then if you follow that process and npower have still not refunded you after 8 weeks you can take your complaint to the Ombudsman. Even if npower don't reply at all (which is not unusual) then you can still complain to the Ombudsman after 8 weeks if you have followed their complaints process and have evidence of this i.e. copies of your emails.0 -

Hi scotty1971
Thanks for your post.
It can take up to 28 days to receive the final meter readings from the supplier taking over - it's their responsibility to make sure these details are passed on to the old supplier and that the readings are correct.
If you can contact me using the details on our profile I'm happy to have a look and see if we've received these yet, so that we can produce your final bill and, if applicable, any credit balance to be refunded to you as a priority. Please mark the email for my attention and quote MSE, to ensure I know to pick it up.
Thanks.
