Paris Agency - cancelled our booking and won't respond to requests to refund deposit

Hi I booked with Clickappart in October 2013 for a trip this November (24 - 30 November 2014). I paid a 275 euro deposit with my M&S Mastercard.
I was contacted by them on 1 October 2014 to state that they were unable to honour my booking as the owner wanted to take back his apartment from 1 November and that they could not transfer our booking as they didn't have any apartments available. They asked for my IBAN details - which I gave and hoped that the refund would show quickly - which it has not.
I have asked for a refund several times and they simply ignore my numerous emails and then I get one stating that the manager will put thru the wire but nothing ever appears in my bank account.
Can I put thru a claim on my M&S Mastercard???:mad:

I doubt very much if M&S will do anything at the moment.
You say that you found out about the problem on the 1st October, and not counting that day, that's only 2 full working days ago.
Unless the agent paid for a fast transfer, it might take a couple more days before the money shows up in your bank account.0 -
Okay - I hadn't thought about that ... I guess I was just getting nervous because they aren't responding. I am assuming the worst. I will wait and thank you for replying0

I personally think the agency are trying not to repay you, there was absolutely no need for them to ask for your IBAN as they should simply have refunded the card that you paid with. I don't think you'll see any money back from them but you may need to wait a while until you can persuade M&S to refund you.0
