Rougue car dealership help.

Options
Hi.
On September 4th I purchased a second hand vehicle from a dealership using finance, I got the car home and immediately the check engine light came on and the car became almost undrivable. I informed the dealership, and they became very rude and shouting at me over thr phone. Eventually we came to the agreement that they would repair the vehicle, if I drove it to them, which was easier said than done. On september 8th I limped the car back along the M1, which is around a 30 mile drive, in exchange for a previously agreed courtesy car.
Its now October 6th, the courtesy car they gave me is out of tax AND mot, the first direct debit for the car has been paid and every week I keep getting fed a pack of lies. Apparently the vehicle is at an Audi specialist and they're waiting for parts to come in from Germany. I'm completely clueless on the current where abouts of this garage and my car. Is there anything I can do as I'm currently paying for a car I don't have, and have driven once out of the last 31 days.

    Speak to your finance company.
Have you tried searching for reviews of the garage online?

How do you know the courtesy car is untaxed .
1st October was a few days ago it may well be taxed .
However if you are driving an untaxed car with no MOT its you who get the fines .Return the courtesy car .

You can check whether a vehicle is taxed using the link below (although be warned that it's only as good as the data DVLA hold, they had mistakenly noted a private plate against my car's details so the real registration wasn't found and I had to ring them up, although they sorted it pretty quickly).
