Parking around Waterloo on a Saturday night

Hi guys

Have a concert to attend at the Royal Festival Hall on Saturday night & instead of parking at Kew & getting tube in, I was looking to drive all the way in.

From what i can make out I should be able to park for FREE on local streets if I get there after 2pm??

Can anyone confirm or give any advise on parking around this area?

There's plenty of parking in the Southwark part of Waterloo Saturday afternoons on single yellow lines.

The controlled zone bordered by Union Street SE1 if free to park on single yellow lines after 12.30pm on Saturdays.

The Lambeth part tends to have later free parking due to being close to the Old Vic Theatre and Lambeth being obsessed with issuing parking tickets

unless it's changed in the last few months, you should be OK in Stamford road or one of the others to the south side
