9 parcels gone missing with City Link

I have 9 parcels that have been picked by City Link on 1/10/2014 (9 parcels in total). However, only 6 were shown to be picked up on the City Link's website. The website shows that they are with Preston Depot on the same day of pick up but no update since then. Even for those 6 parcels, none of them has been delivered. It seems they all gone missing!

The 9 parcels are large boxes and I simply can't imagine how can they all gone missing!

I have contacted the customer service many times and I was always told that they will contact the depot and get back to me. But none did as you can guess.

What could I do? Should I drive to the depot and see whether my dog can find something?

I am so worry about my parcels and it will cost me a great fortunate if they all gone. :(

When were they due to be delivered ? What did the recipients of the parcels say when you asked them if they have receved them ?

Did you buy sufficient insurance to cover their value?

It was due on 2nd of October. The last status is Successful collection. My worry is that they may be taken home by the driver or someone in the depot. They have never been sent to the delivery depot (at least it looks like this according to the website).

Tried on twitter. It seems they simply don't care. They don't have a facebook page. :(
  • Are you a regular customer of City Link? I've not had a problem with them, we receive the best service from any courier, outstanding in every way.

Are you sure they have not been delivered? I have had parcels that the tracking has got stuck somewhere and never shown as delivered before.

I have had many city link items which have not had any scan until the customer signs. Apart the odd item ending in the wrong depot I've not had a parcel lost in three years
