Parking Eye charge cancelled at first appeal thanks MSE

Hi

Just a quick message to say thanks for the advice on here, I got a PE parking charge in a car park with ANPR, I followed the advice on here and used your template to appeal to PE against the charge and today received a brief letter confirming the charge has been cancelled.

Generally I do pay to park, this was just an oversight when using a supermarket where your parking fee is refunded against your bill in store so I was obviously disappointed to be hit with a charge of £85.00 so browsed the internet to see if there was a way to rectify the situation and came across your excellent advice.

Thanks again

Well done. It is unusual for pe to crumble at this early so you must have put up a strong first appeal.

Don't forget to tell your friends and family what to do if they get a fake unenforceable speculative invoice as well.

  • I just used the standard first appeal template thats available on here.

Perhaps theyre no longer pursuing charges that they know will win on second appeal from people who are using proven arguments at first appeal stage ?

That's good to hear. A lot of PPCs do give up when they see the first appeal. They know who will win, as you say!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
