Parking eye... A year on!

I recieved a parking ticket in their blackpool church st car park march 2013 due to not having a ticket. I always payed using the app as I never carry cash and this day the app continued to crash, I called the number but that also did not work. By the time I had messed about I would have been late for work. As expected I got a fine thought the post. I typed up a letter explaining the above along with a statement for all the times I have used this car park (every day for months) proving that I always pay and that I was more than willing on this day if it was possible.

I got no response so I presumed it was all over. A couple of weeks ago over a year later they have wrote to me demanded £150 and are saying they never recieved my letter.

Can they do this after all this time?

PE is particularly litigious and you look like another victim. Start reading the NEWBIES thread and also have a look at the Parking Prankster website. With PE you need to start thinking about a court defence.

You could send a complaint to the BPA if you kept proof of posting of that appeal letter you sent in 2013. You should also robustly reply to everything PE says - by email to save stamps:

Do not leave the ball in their court - don't leave anything without a reply. I am guessing you have effectively already implied who was driving in your contact with them? Oooops.
