Can u balance transfer another persond debt onto your card?

Can anyone help!

I have 3000 on a credit card which I want to transfer to a 0 percent card but have been turned down.

My husband has been accepted for a 0 percent with 0 percent balance transfer is it possible for him to transfer my debt onto his card?
It asking for the last statement from the debt he wants to transfer so this would show my name.

I have no idea do credit cards allow this or does all debt have to be in the same name as the person holding the card?

If that doesn't work, you could use stoozing to achieve your aim.

Your husband would need an egg money card in addition to a 0% balance transfer card. He would then carry out a 3k balance transfer from the egg money card to the 0% balance transfer card, creating a 3k positive balance on his egg money card. Then transfer the balance on the egg money card to his current account and use this to pay off your credit card.

There other cards available for stoozing apart from Egg.You should also keep your purchases,balance transfers on separate cards otherwise you will end up incuring interest charges.

I thought the egg money card was the only one that could be used as a mule (ie. to hold the positive balance and then transfer out to your current account). Which are the other ones?
