wescott/micro credit & credit rating

Hi

Ive been in a debt management plan for a couple of years, i currently owe around 1800 to my creditors and have not missed a payment in over 24 months.

last time i checked my credit rating was in January and it was around 770 - so not great but not terrible either, however ive just noticed one creditor (micro credit/wescott) has apparently not updated my file or has made some sort of error as it shows on my credit report that ive not made a single payment, and theyve recently upped my debt to over 2000 (i actually only owe them about £230).

Im expecting this to be corrected (hopefully soon!) im just curious if its likely to have much impact on my rating or if it will be re assessed once the errors corrected ?

cheers
BLN

Ignore the "score" it means nothing and lenders don't get to see it.

If you are on a DMP then your credit worthiness is pretty much screwed as you would have defaulted on all your creditors. This is a big flag to lenders.

Everything will drop off 6 years after the default date so its worth making sure the default dates on your file are accurate.
