I've got this far in one of these comps before.... A car was won on the day! Unfortunetly not by myself. When we got there we all answered a question: How many sales do we think that they had done last year?

Then they had lots of electric car keys in a bag, and we took it in turns to pull one out in an attempt to open the car... There were two correct keys in there and the person who got the question right the most won the car!!

I am going to this, as it is in birmingham which is only 40 miles away, if I lived any further away I don't think I would go. If I saw a bet with odds of 200 to 1 I wouldn't bet.
    Wins since January 2015

Your chances of winning are 200 to 1, if the prize is worth £8,000 and you spend £12 on fuel then then your return is over 650 to 1 making it a bet worth taking.

This sounds like the one I got selected for a couple of years ago. I got the first opportunity to pick a key out of the bag but unfortunately it didn't open the car, then someone else two places behind me opened the car and 20 or so people were very disappointed that they hadn't even had a chance to pick a key. I hate to think how far some of them must have travelled.

My sister was lucky enough to get to the final 200 for this comp and I will be going with her to cheer her on as unfortunately I didn't. Luckily for us, we live very close to the Tamworth showroom, so we have nothing to lose by going along. If you're going to be there, please feel free to PM me.

Just got back from the grand draw.
    Didn't win, never mind.
Prize seemed to go to a lovely young couple, who probably needed the car more than me.
    Maybe next time.

I was there too! The girl who won was shaking like a leaf bless her.
My mum won a raffle prize! Someone bought a ticket but left early and had her money back as she wasn't going to be there for the draw. Mum bought a few tickets and was given this person's stub as the number was already in the pot. I did think it was a bit stingy getting £1 back considering it was for charity so I believe that was a little bit of comping karma ;)

One of the salesmen said there were 65 people who turned up at the showroom to enter the draw, that has to be the shortest odds ever to win a car!
