Totally unrelated to pensions but every time I post the forum seems to insert two line feeds whenever I put in a separate paragraph with a single line gap between the first and the succeeding one.
Case in point here - am I doing something wrong or is there a setting I should use?
This paragraph is me not deliberately inserting a line feed to see what happens
Edit: If I don't enter a line feed I don't get a line space between the paragraphs at all. It's a little bit annoying when I have to go back and edit every post to remove surplus line feeds......

what's your Message Editor setting?
- UserCP (in the green bar above the thread)
- Settings & Options
- Edit Options
- scroll down to Miscellaneous options
- mine is set to Enhanced interface - full WYSIWYG EditingThe questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0 -
Mine is the same, but for some reason I don't appear to be getting WYSIWYG.
Test line
Still the same, I'll try to go to a lesser setting
Edit reason 1: Trying lower editor with less options
Edit reason 2: Apologies, it now seems to be working i.e. one line feed in editor = 1 line feed in submitted post, weird, sorry for taking anyone's time0 -
Which operating system? Which browser? What sort of device are you using to post?
Do you type your posts offline using a word processor or text editor, then copy/paste the text into the forum?
For me, one hit on the return key takes me to a new line...
...like this. Two hits would produce a paragraph break with a single line of white space.0
