I'm surprised my subscription hasn't worn out as the kids watch wall to wall Pocoyo, Horrid Henry etc. I currently have Now TV movies through a deal on MSE but I will probably get rid of that and just keep Netflix. Netflix tends to have older movies on it but I can usually find something to watch. Enjoyed Orange is the New Black which is Netflix only.

It's good. You can also set up your own user and watch it in more than one location...
    Hope is not a strategy.
  • Netflix - wish I'd done this before now.

We love it so much that Freeview on the main telly is almost never watched now. Should we get a smart telly the TV license will be cancelled :) and use catch-up instead.

Even though our ADSL is only 6.5meg three streams work perfectly at the same time, two laptops and an iPad.

Did try the 30 day Amazon Prime Video but settled on Netflix.

Do you need a licence for only Netflix (ie. does it broadcast "live" content)?

Netflix is not live and no license is needed.
  • Netflix is amazing and we wouldn't be without it now. Watched all of Dexter, Orange is the new black, lilyhammer, breaking bad and tonnes and tonnes of films!

There is so much variety and always something to watch. Great value for money in my opinion.

Husband uses it a lot, I use it sometimes on a different tab, kids use it rarely on the ipod.

Love the flexibility- my daughter was poorly in bed, so she was watching the family films upstairs. (Not allowed a tv in room) but she was able to watch terrible Barbie films for the day!

If thats what you want to watch then yes give it a shot.

I am annoyed Sons of Anarchy isn't on Netflix but is on Amazon instant and I believe I need prime for it.

Sons of Anarchy is on Netflix. I've just finished watching series 1-6 for the second time. I'm sure series 7 will be along soon.
