New York - christmas villages

I'm not sure if this is in the right place
But I know it's a long shot but has anyone seen or know where I could purchase Lemax figures / houses or Dept 56 village pieces in New York?
I've never been before and would like to build a christmas village and purchase some pieces.
I don't want to spend all my time (a couple of days ) trawling the shops but I would like to see some shops and if they have Christmas village displays I would think I've gone to heaven

The Lemax website has a where to buy section, I don't know most of the stores listed but I'd be pretty confident that both Kmart and Sears will have stores in NY. You can check the other stores for yourself.
