Anyone used immobilise property marking kit or something similar?

Smartwater for me - have used it at home and at work, I have also used alphadots in the past which got me some stolen items returned within a week of them being nicked.

Have to say ultra violet pens as well, I was handed a free one once at my local Tesco. I marked everything nickable in the house and car. One night my car was broken into in an attempt to steal it but it was immobilised so they ripped the stereo literally. When I told the police about the break in and theft and that stuff was marked they said yeah ok here's your crime ref thank you and good bye.
To my surprise two hours later I got a phone call saying they had recovered my radio down to it being marked with my postcode and house number the copper was gob smacked to say the least, he had never known that happen ! I told him exactly where the markings were and they let me collect it an hour or so later.

Marking property does work !
