Mazda 3 help understanding the models
I've been looking today at a Mazda 3 Tamura 1.6, it's about a year old. I can't find this model though in my copy of Parker's guide, it's all 1.6 T, TS, TS2 etc. It doesn't mention "Tamura" at all, but looking at other dealers this seems to be a popular model (as is "Takuya" and this isn't mentioned in Parker's either).
Is this just another name for one of the standard T/TS (or whatever) models?

I see thanks for the links.
I still can't work out if the price is reasonable though. My Parker's says the guide price for a 13/13 TS is £9,995 or £10,720 for the TS2 (car supermarket price). The one I looked at was priced at £11,199. Does this sound about right?
(The last car I bought was 16 years ago I'm a bit rusty on this sort of thing!).0 -
Since we don't know the full spec or mileage, hard to say.But if the dealer is asking £11,200, then you'd be looking to pay maybe £4-500 less-that's just their opening offer. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

This is Ford's of Winsford, they seem to get lots of good reviews. They say they don't do haggling.0 -
Use the Parkers text service, just include mileage year etc.

Thanks I gave that a go.
It gives a value of £11,310 for a main dealer or £10,915 for an independent dealer.
So it looks like FOW's price of £11,199 is about right? Or do they count as an independent and are a couple of hundred on the high side? Still, it looks about right.0 -
