Some months ago. I received a demand from a debt collector, for a loan that I had some 15 odd years ago. I had paid it off, but they insisted that I still owed the money.
The collector was a differant one from the original, confirming my suspicion that the supposed debt, was sold on.
After visiting this forum, I copied the template for statute of limitations. Printed it out and sent it off to the debt collectors, bearing in mind that it was more than six years since the last communication.
After another month, they obviously sold it onto another one called "Red Castle" They tried their luck, and I did the same.
It's been awhile now, so I take it they where unable to sell it on again.
Just want to thank the admin, for helping me out.
