How much to sell to cover fees?

A little assistance if possible, as my brain isn't working this morning.
A lady in a Facebook group I am in was looking for a bag, which is sold out online, but I found it in TK Maxx for £16.99 and I offered to sell it to her for £20 including postage.
She couldn't work out how to pay me with Paypal so she has asked me to but in on eBay as I buy it now.
What do I need to sell it at to cover eBay and Paypal fees? Will £22 be enough or should I put it on at £23? For the life of me I can't work out Paypal fees.

I have no idea what you are trying to do.
Someone wants something you have and you want to pay someone to advertise it although you already have a buyer.
If she can't work out how to send you a Paypal payment then get her to BACS you the money straight into your bank account.:footie:

Yeah I thought of that, but I thought if she couldn't work out Paypal then that might fox her too.
I could just get her to send me a postal order. I explained to her how to do it via Paypal but she couldn't get her head round it. I think it would be easier to avoid eBay.
I'm not wanting to make any money out of this, she wants the bag, I saw it in TK Maxx so I offered to get it for her.0 -
ebay fees about 10% paypal %? + postage + insurance = £?
Then factor in the fact she may not like it or may find a fault in it and might want a refund.
You maybe out of pocket.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Even just a normal every day cheque will do. If you know her address then if she were to cancel the cheque you can report that as fraud.:footie:

I know! I sold a bag for my mum last month and the buyer didn't like it, I ended up out of pocket for the return postage.

She's just asked me what BACS is.0

Am i missing something obvious here.. if she uses ebay she must have paypal.
Can you just send her an invoice then she clicks through to pay?0 -
A bag is likely to cost £2.80 to post if you send it by hermes, so if you sell it on ebay for £20 including postage, you'll end up with a loss of around £3 after fees & postage.0

I think I might stick it on for £25. I think I deserve to make a couple of quid for the stress she is causing me!0

I don't get it - if she can pay via ebay/paypal, why can't she pay you directly via paypal? Avoid ebay and save yourself 10% of £25 ie £2.50.
Guide her how to pay via paypal by invoicing her.0
