whatsapp can't connect using my WiFi..Virgin media

Hello all,
Hope someone can help.

I've just had a Virgin Media broadband connection installed against my better judgement... My wife and I both work from home, and there is a lot of bandwidth draining devices on the network.. The BT connection on 5 Meg was being over taxed.

Anyway, they've installed a super hub 2 router and I'm getting a good speed and all is working.

The only problem is that WhatsApp has stopped working fully on it, I'm getting "WhatsApp cannot connect using this WiFi" never had that before. Then sporadically sends messages through.

I've looked on the internet and can't really find anything that doesn't involve jail breaking my phone.

I'm not sure about the iPhones on the network but I'm using a galaxy note 3... Which otherwise works well with WhatsApp..
