thinking of changing bank accounts

Hi Im thinking of changing banks with my current account from santander to nationwide but unsure what to do i have no problem with santander but i have savings with nationwide and they keep asking me to come in and have a review and to change my current account to them,
i had a mortgage with nationwide i have sold my house now move in with my wife, she wanted me on her mortgage but santander refused me due to my affordability,when i am on a good wage and have savings she is in university and getting a student loan so dont know what to do stay or go

You can have multiple current accounts. Some people on the boards here have 10+. I have a number and growing because of interest rate benefits and joining incentives.
If you're not switching to get incentives and joining bonuses (you should!) you could keep your old current account open and just start using your new one by moving your wage deposits, direct debits and other regular payments/deposits over.
I have mine split and have funds being funnelled all over the shop for various purposes (keeping operational expenses and savings separate from fixed expenses) when my salary payment hits.0 -
You want to make sure you get the equivalent account because when you other account closed and thers no going back0
