How do i finalise dvd on alba dvd recorder?

Hello all, does anyone know how i can finalise dvd,s on my alba rdvd1001, i've searched the tinternet and read the instruction manual over and over, to no avail, any help much appreciated, thanks in advance, Mick.

Are you sure of model number? I've looked for info via Google but no good.
There is an Alba RDVD1000 sold at Argos, is that the model? However not much info available for that either.

I would expect to be able to find a finalise option in one of the on screen menus. Possibly only visible once the disc to be finalised has been loaded.

Thanks for the reply, it is the one from argos, but the model number is definitely 1001. I've checked thru the on screen menus to no avail, the quest continues! Thanks anyways.

You could try ringing customer support. Argos site gives 0870 8730079 but albaplc site gives 0870 8730078 or email customercare@albapc.co.uk

There is another number (020 8787 3110) on albaplc site product support popup which may be head office but if they can put you through it might save expense of 0870 number. Probably worth trying first.

Or try 020 8594 5533 (I think this might be head office)
