I went last year for my 30th birthday, and thought it was really good. You go around a the factory and see some of the processes, learn about the origin of chocolate and get given a few bars of chocolate on the way round. There is a fair bit of walking though.

I have been and enjoyed it but i am WAY over 3....IMO opinion a 3 year old would probably not appreciate it.
  • it is something different from the normal theme parks etc but overpriced for what it is IMO.it only takes half a day to get round 5 hours max.i suppose its more educational than your average theme park but then im not sure have much chocolate information a 3 year old needs:rotfl: .if you lucky enough to see the production line running then that is good to see but dont expect it to run.liquid chocolate is very nice mmmmmmmmmmmmm :p

I remember going to Cadbury World for the first time when my daughter was quite small (still in a pushchair) - at the time they used to give out loads of bars of chocolate. We didn't have to pay for my daughter and everytime we got given a bar of chocolate, she got handed one too - fantastic money-saving and my (now ex-) husband thought it brilliant because he was a chocaholic and ate them all before we even left Birmingham - greedy s-d!!!

I think three is too small.

We live very near and my son loves it for all the wrong reasons really. I can count the good things for little ones on one hand - he's 6, nearly 7 and just races to to the next bit that he likes.

He wants free chocolate, and to sit on the shaking seat, that's about it. Oh, and the playground which is free :wall: It's incredibly expensive for what it is - I'm sure it was £24 for me, him and his little sister was free. They used to have a show in Cadburyland which he loved but they've changed it now to a bit of a scrum chocolate demonstration.

I really like the little ride yo go on with the chocolate beans. Last time we went near the end of the day because it's dead quiet and we asked the man if we could go on again (because I wanted to :rotfl:) I must have ridden that thing ten times and never tired of it.

I think older kids and adults will extract more value from the day.
