Cruise Booking/ Halifax Clarity Question

Hi
I am hoping to book a late deal cruise for a very satisfying £497 via the cruise lines UK site.
I have checked the prices on the European site and after conversion (using the Halifax Clarity Card) it comes in at £430 (give or take variations in the exchange rate).
My question is - am i ok to do this? I can see nothing in the t&c's?

I know of instances where people have tried to book cruises through US websites only to find that their payment is rejected when the credit card details are entered and the fact that it is a UK card is detected.
Whether or not this will happen in your case (you don't say which cruise line it is) I can't say but EU rules may prohibit them from blocking your transaction.
The only other thing I would say is that you should ensure all details are identical and that the EU based site doesn't exclude items such as flights/transfers etc which passengers from the 'home country' may not require and would not be included as standard for them.0 -

No problem, I book cruises thro the US and Germany T/A's every year. It is normally the US who are the cheaper at the time taking the exchange rate into account. Great advantage they don't charge a CC Fee like the UK and with the Halifax card your transactions are at the visa rate, so you win hands down.0
